cPanel Hosting for Mission Critical Sites provides web hosting in the familiar cPanel environment with additional layers of caching and redundancy to provide increased performance and availability vs. standard cPanel Web Hosting.
Staff who support units, departments, or projects that include websites that are critical to the university mission are eligible to use the service. This includes academic departments, colleges, schools, and programs, as well as other public-facing websites that impact life safety, recruitment, and other academic and research goals.
- Only public, mission critical websites will be hosted on cPanel for Mission Critical Sites.
- Only one production website per account is supported. Additional websites within the same unit, if approved, will be supported in separate accounts.
- All hosted websites must use the Illinois Theme or an approved child of the Illinois Theme
- At this time, only WordPress website hosting is available.
